Scavenger Hunt Sunday--Week 23

Scavenger Hunt Sunday--Week 23

I left my camera home this weekend while I attended a writer's conference in Kansas. We got home late last night, exhausted but full information and encouragement for our writing. I was too tired this afternoon to go out hunting. Instead, I took today's shots from my photo archives from one of my many trips to Silver Dollar City last year.

1. Macro

Flowers were blooming all over the park on our first visit in early May last year. Silver Dollar City was a photographer's paradise.

2. Wheels

The wheels on this hearse don't look strong enough to hold much weight. I doubt that the occupants minded much!

3. Shiny

I just love how the sun shone on this water as it splashed into the pool. Years ago a path led behind the falls so you could walk on the back side of it. It was a nice place to cool off during the heat of the day. It is blocked off so no one can walk the path.

4. Weather

The weather was perfect for water rides the day we were there. The #American Plunge is fun, but my all time favorite ride was the #Waterboggan. It has been gone for sometime now.

5. Favorite Sport

To stay with the theme, my favorite sport would have to be walking through the park taking pictures. I enjoy capturing trees and flowers and rides from below. Pink dogwoods are my favorite tree flower.

I hope you enjoyed my Scavenger Hunt Sunday today. I linked this post to Ashley's blog with the button below.

    1. Thanks. I would love to have a pink dogwood tree in my yard. They have been my favorite since I was very young.

    1. Thank you. These were some of the first pictures I took when I got my Canon. I was amazed at how much better photos the Canon took than my 10 year old camera.
