Last week I started my post with a picture that satisfied all 5 prompts. I accepted the challenge to do it again this week, so here goes!
Had I been anywhere other than where I stood, I would have missed the tiny punch bowl set that was nearly hidden in the shadow of the the silver Christmas tray.
1. Where I Stood
This is where I stood to keep warm this week when the temperatures were in the single digits. I tried at least 20 times to take this picture with the flash on. It would never show the fire in the picture, so I finally resorted to taking it without the flash. The color appears distorted this way. Can anyone give me a hint about how to correct it? I'm using a Canon Rebel T3i.
My husband happily used this silver pie server to dip out a slice of this 'not so pretty' pie that I made to help him stave off the cold weather. It's not so pretty on the outside, but I've always been told that its what's on the inside that counts.
I discovered these tiny Christmas decorations as I was cleaning the other day. I thought the dust and tiny webs would make them more interesting so I waited to clean them until after the photo session.
I cleaned out my very vintage cupboards and stocked them with my favorite wintertime soup and stew bowls. I washed up the Christmas plates and glasses so that they'd be ready when the grand kids visit over Christmas break.
This picture is a little blurred. I didn't want to turn the fan off just yet because when I do I need to clean the dust off the blades. I have it set to push the hot air down. I wasn't quite ready to give up that extra warmth, even for a little while.
